Myobrace System is a preventive pre-orthodontic treatment that focuses on addressing the underlying causes of crooked teeth.

The treatment is best suited for children aged 5 to 15 years and consists of the use of a series of removable intra-oral devices that are worn for 1-2 hours every day, plus one night of sleep.

Often the myobrace device is accompanied by a referral to the speech therapist to learn to breathe through their noses, to let the tongue rest correctly in the roof of the mouth, to swallow well and to make the jaws bigger, so that they can grow to their full size. This results in sufficient space for the teeth, whereby they naturally come straight and often without the need for braces.
